Dr. Tanya Wasielewski is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and holds a Doctoral degree in Psychology. With a specialization in clinical psychology and additional expertise in educational psychology, she brings a wealth of experience to Manor Clinic.
Having worked in private practice, public healthcare, and educational settings across multiple countries, Dr. Wasielewski has over 15 years of clinical experience supporting diverse populations. She specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments for children, youth, and adults, including evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, learning disorders, and other psychological conditions.
In addition to assessments, Dr. Wasielewski provides counselling and mental health therapy for adults, helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. She takes a client-centered approach, integrating Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support her clients’ well-being.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Wasielewski has delivered extensive training and education on mental health topics to professionals, families, and community organizations. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment where individuals can build resilience, enhance well-being, and achieve personal growth.
