At Manor Clinic, our experienced psychologists provide comprehensive assessments for various forms of anxiety, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, and Selective Mutism. These assessments are designed to evaluate the severity and impact of anxiety symptoms on an individual’s daily functioning and overall quality of life. Timely diagnosis is essential in helping individuals access appropriate interventions and support.
We conduct anxiety assessments for individuals starting from age 6 through adulthood. Early identification can facilitate timely interventions and support for those experiencing anxiety symptoms.
Parents, guardians, or adults can request an anxiety assessment directly or seek input from a health professional. A referral is not mandatory but can enhance collaboration with other healthcare providers for a comprehensive approach.
Following an anxiety diagnosis, our multidisciplinary team provides individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of the individual. This may include evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and coping strategies to manage anxiety symptoms. We work closely with families to ensure they understand anxiety and can support their loved ones effectively. Additionally, we provide referrals to community resources and support groups as needed.
