Carmen Gervais is the Clinic Coordinator for Manor FASD Assessment & Clinical Services at Manor Clinic in Edmonton, Alberta. In this role, she supports the coordination of referrals, intake, and multidisciplinary assessment processes for individuals being evaluated for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Carmen works closely with clinicians, community partners, and referring agencies to help ensure that the assessment process is organized, accessible, and supportive for clients and their families.
Carmen brings several years of experience working in mental health, addictions, and community-based services. Much of her work has focused on supporting individuals impacted by trauma, substance use, and systemic barriers, including those involved with the justice system and individuals accessing inner-city supports. Through this work, she has developed a strong understanding of the complex needs of individuals living with FASD and the importance of compassionate, person-centred care.
She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is passionate about improving awareness and access to FASD-informed services. Carmen is committed to helping ensure that individuals referred to the clinic feel respected, informed, and supported throughout the assessment process.
