At Manor Clinic, our experienced psychologists provide comprehensive assessments for depression in both children and adults. Using evidence-based tools, we evaluate emotional functioning, mood patterns, and overall mental health to provide an accurate diagnosis. Timely diagnosis is essential in helping individuals access appropriate interventions and support to improve their quality of life.
We conduct depression assessments for individuals starting from age 6 through adulthood. Early identification can facilitate timely interventions and support for those experiencing depressive symptoms.
Parents, guardians, or adults can request a depression assessment directly or seek input from a health professional. A referral is not mandatory but can enhance collaboration with other healthcare providers for a comprehensive approach.
Following a depression diagnosis, our multidisciplinary team provides individualized care plans that include evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and coping strategies. We offer medication recommendations as needed, coordinating with your family physician or psychiatrist. Additionally, our clinic offers newer evidence-based treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and ketamine/esketamine treatments. We also provide resources to help families understand depression and support their loved ones in recovery.
