Educational Assessments for Children

At Manor Clinic, our psychologists offer comprehensive Educational Assessments for Children to evaluate learning abilities, academic performance, and cognitive functioning. These assessments help identify learning difficulties, giftedness, and areas of strength or need. A timely diagnosis is essential in providing the appropriate interventions and support, enabling children to reach their full academic potential.

Age Range for Educational Assessments:

We provide educational assessments for children aged 5 and above, ensuring that school-aged children receive the necessary support and accommodations to succeed in their educational journey.

Referral Process:

Parents or guardians can directly request an educational assessment, or they can seek input from a teacher, physician, or other educational or mental health professionals. A formal referral letter is not required.

Post Diagnostic Support:

Following an educational assessment, our multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, provides ongoing support. We create individualized care plans that include recommendations for school accommodations, learning strategies, and collaboration with educators to optimize your child’s academic success. We also provide guidance for Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) and offer parent support training to assist families in helping their child overcome learning challenges both at home and in the classroom.

Educational Assessments For Adults

At Manor Clinic, we offer comprehensive educational assessments for adults to evaluate learning abilities, cognitive functioning, and academic challenges. These assessments help identify learning disabilities, attention difficulties, or giftedness that may impact professional or academic performance. A clear diagnosis allows adults to access appropriate support, accommodations, and strategies to improve performance and reach their potential.

Age Range for Educational Assessments:

We provide educational assessments for adults of all ages, helping individuals navigate their learning needs in professional, academic, or personal contexts.

Referral Process:

Adults can directly request an educational assessment or seek input from a physician, psychologist, or other mental health professionals. A formal referral letter is not required.

Post Diagnostic Support:

After an educational assessment, our psychologists provide individualized care plans with recommendations for workplace accommodations, learning strategies, and academic adjustments where applicable. We offer support in working with educational institutions or employers to ensure that the appropriate accommodations are in place, and we provide guidance on how to apply strategies to improve learning and productivity in daily life.
