Dr. Mahboobe Gholami is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 18 years of clinical experience and a broad, well-established background in mental health care, encompassing clinical practice, academic work, and leadership roles. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completed her specialized training in psychiatry. She holds advanced certificates in Patient Needs Assessment, Advanced Care Coordination, Motivational Interviewing and Health Leadership from York University.
Dr. Gholami has extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mood disorders, psychotic disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and other complex psychiatric presentations. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress or adjustment difficulties, trauma-related conditions, and severe or persistent mental illness.
Dr. Gholami previously served as a Clinical Assistant at Manor Clinic, providing clinical support in psychiatric care, including patient assessments and TMS therapy. She has since transitioned into independent practice as a consultant psychiatrist, providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
