Mercy Shambare (She/her)

Registered Psychologist

Mercy is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and is a dedicated therapist who effectively works with clients to guide them through a variety of situations and difficulties. Mercy currently works as a Mental Health Therapist (Adults) at the Leduc Clinic.

Mercy joined AHS on June 1st, 2016, as a Mental Health Therapist. Through her time with AHS and her previous professional engagements, Mercy has extensive experience working with various diagnoses, including Trauma, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Cognitive Disorders, Depression, Addiction problems, Parent-child relationships, and relational problems, and concurrent disorders. In her practice, Mercy brings a rich educational base in family systems to provide practical guidance to those struggling with relationship issues.

In her spare time, Mercy enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks, reading, and travelling to sunny locations as a break from the long, cold winters in Edmonton. Mercy was born and raised in Zimbabwe and lived in the USA for five years before relocating to Canada in 2005.
