Play Therapy

At Manor Clinic, we offer Play Therapy as a gentle and supportive approach to help children express emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills through play and creative activities. This therapeutic approach is especially helpful for children experiencing emotional, behavioural, social, or developmental challenges.

What is Play Therapy?

Play Therapy is based on the understanding that children often communicate their thoughts and feelings more naturally through play rather than words. In therapy, children work with a trained therapist using toys, games, storytelling, art, and creative activities to explore emotions, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen problem-solving skills in a safe and supportive environment.

By engaging in play, children can better understand their feelings, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.v
