At Manor Clinic, our experienced psychologists offer comprehensive assessments for PTSD in both children and adults. We use evidence-based tools to evaluate the impact of trauma on an individual’s mental health and functioning. Timely diagnosis is essential in helping individuals access appropriate interventions and support to improve their quality of life.
We conduct PTSD assessments for individuals starting from age 6 through adulthood. Early assessment can facilitate timely interventions and support for those affected by trauma.
Parents, guardians, or adults can request a PTSD assessment directly or seek input from a health professional. A referral is not mandatory but can enhance collaboration with other healthcare providers for a comprehensive approach.
Following a PTSD diagnosis, our multidisciplinary team provides individualized care plans that include trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with coping strategies. We work closely with families when possible to ensure they can support their loved ones effectively and provide referrals to community resources and support groups as needed.
