Sonia Khandelwal is a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Provisional Psychologist at Manor Clinic. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Counselling Psychology, along with advanced certifications in EMDR for adults and children, Sand Play Therapy, and trauma-focused interventions. Her extensive training in CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based therapy allows her to provide tailored, evidence-based care to each client.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health and education sectors, Sonia has worked in school settings, private practice, and community organizations. She has supported children, adolescents, adults, and couples through a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges. Her work is grounded in cultural competence, and she has a particular passion for supporting individuals from diverse cultural and Indigenous backgrounds.
Sonia has experience conducting psychological assessments, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and psychoeducational assessments for children and teens aged 3 to 16, under the supervision of a registered psychologist.
