Dr. Yogesh Thakker is a Consultant Psychiatrist and the Medical Director of Manor Clinic, with a deep commitment to evidence-based and innovative treatments for mental health disorders. His clinical expertise spans ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disability, in addition to treating common conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. He has a particular interest in advanced therapeutic modalities, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and psychedelic therapy.
Dr. Thakker completed seven years of specialized psychiatry training in London, UK, earning Membership in Psychiatry (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the Psychiatry of Developmental Disorders. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK (FRCPsych). Additionally, he pursued a visiting fellowship in TMS at Duke University, further enhancing his expertise in neuromodulation treatments.
Beyond Manor Clinic, Dr. Thakker serves as a psychiatrist for developmental disorders at Alberta Hospital Edmonton and holds an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta.
